Dinah Skorich, DVM

Dr. Dinah Skorich has always loved animals, especially horses. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian, and achieved this goal in 2011 with a degree from NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine with a strong interest in equine surgery, the racing industry, and sports medicine. After veterinary school, she completed an equine surgical and ambulatory internship at Ocala Equine Hospital in Ocala, Florida where she further developed her interest in lameness and the Thoroughbred industry. During her internship, Dr. Skorich also completed the Equine Acupuncture course the Chi Institute (now Chi University) to add to her growing interest in treating equine performance horses. After her internship, she moved to New York joining a large equine ambulatory practice, developing her interest in Standardbred racehorses, as well as hunters and jumpers. Dr. Skorich then became certified in Equine Veterinary Spinal Manipulation (commonly referred to equine chiropractic), and Equine Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. In 2018 she left general equine practice to pursue her dream and start Equilibrium Veterinary Services, a practice focused on a balance of complimentary medicine, sports medicine, and equine rehabilitation.

Dr. Skorich has her own zoo with three floofy dogs, several kitties, several horses, a ferret, and a snake. In her personal time, she enjoys reading, music, and riding when possible.
